Before the jewelry, before the store, before the brand, there was a young girl from New Orleans who left her home just hours before Hurricane Katrina changed everything. What followed was displacement, instability, and seasons of uncertainty that could have defined a life.

They did not.

Through rebuilding and navigating spaces where she often felt underestimated, Deja Dyese Craft learned something powerful: circumstances can shift, but identity is chosen.

Spirituality became her anchor, not as escapism, but as discipline.
Prayer. Assumption. Intention. Vision.
The quiet decision to believe in something greater than present reality.

That inner framework carried her through education, through engineering, through rooms she once only imagined entering. It led her to become an award-winning engineer. It carried her to being honored with a public mural at a tech school, a symbol of transformation made visible; it carried her to The Georgia Institute of Technology, where she continues her education in computer science and her journey to empowering others. 

But Dyese was never meant to be about achievement alone.

It was born from the understanding that what we wear, what we write, and what we focus on shape how we feel and move through the world.
